GMC Trucks 2005: Sierra Hybrid Truck And 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Denali

Truck enthusiasts are well aware of the quality and innovation associated with GMC Pickup Trucks. Since the earliest parts of the 20th century, GMC has led the field in technology, durability and comfort, and year in and year out they continue to release pickup trucks that make the rest of the industry take notice.
Even with such a pedigree, however, 2005 was a particularly strong year for the company, as the lineup of 2005 GMC trucks included several innovations and models that continue to outclass and outsell the competition. With two new model years of vehicles having been released since then, there has never been a better time for the bargain-hunter to shop for 2005 GMC trucks.
Perhaps the most exciting recent innovation in the automotive world has been the promise of the hybrid drive. In 2005, GMC Trucks stayed at the head of the pack with the release of the Sierra Hybrid Truck. At first glance, the Sierra Hybrid Truck seems the same as a standard Sierra, with the classic pickup design. However, the magic of the Sierra Hybrid Truck lies on the inside, where the classic gasoline engine is supplemented with an Integrated Starter and Generator (known as ISG), which uses a battery, not the engine, to start the motor and operate at low RPM. When the truck reaches a high enough RPM, the standard engine kicks in.
Since so much gasoline is wasted in starting the motor, hybrid vehicles save a great deal of gasoline. The battery of the electric system never needs to be recharged, thanks to the regenerative braking system that converts the brake power into energy to recharge the battery. All of this technology results in over 10% increased gas mileage over other 2005 GMC trucks, which any true truck owner knows equals substantial monetary savings. The Sierra Hybrid truck also offers a 5.3L V8 engine and a long-bed model, which means that those who really need performance from their 2005 GMC trucks do not need to worry.
Though the hybrid technology is certainly impressive, it comes at a price premium, and there are many other 2005 GMC Trucks that are well worth consideration. One of the more unique 2005 GMC trucks would have to be the 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Denali. Though the name is more than a mouthful, the 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Denali offers a unique combination of the rugged performance of other GMC pickup trucks with the comfort and luxury associated with the Denali models and other 2005 GMC trucks.
The Crew Cab Denali features 4-door access to a roomy backseat with all conceivable amenities, including DVD entertainment and full-climate control. Though this luxury and the distinctive Denali front grill and styling suggests that this model is all bark and no bite, like all 2005 GMC Trucks the 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Denali has more than a little muscle, with a 345hp Vortec 6000 V8 engine that is sure to be adequate for any job. Add in other powerful features such as Z71 suspension and full-time all-wheel drive, and this truck clearly takes its place in the pantheon of 2005 GMC trucks.
Ultimately, the line of 2005 GMC trucks has all of the options and features a potential truck owner could want. Given that two more years of models have come and gone, now is a great opportunity to access the quality of the 2005 GMC trucks without paying the new model premium. Anyone in the market for a solid and stylish pickup truck would do well not to ignore the 2005 GMC trucks.
